Hydrogen Recovery

Hydrogen Compression

Mechanical reciprocating piston and diaphragm compressors that are generally used to increase hydrogen volume density for storage and transport produce significant noise and vibration and are expensive and inefficient. Electrochemical hydrogen compressors (EHCs) are modular, highly efficient and possess hydrogen purification functions with no moving parts.

Hydrogen Deblending

SKYRE’s H2RENEW technology would allow hydrogen to be easily and affordably transported via the natural gas pipeline system, then extracted and compressed at fueling stations that provide hydrogen for fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs). This would allow hydrogen to be distributed to wherever it is needed using the natural gas grid, enabling many more hydrogen fueling stations and improving the economics of hydrogen P2G by making hydrogen widely available for high value end uses.
